Christmas!!

Kommandant and I have been working a lot because of the holiday season. Kommandant has been working his normal schedule with Saturday's playing the Star Trek game. 

Me on the other hand have been working long hours. I think last week I worked 54 hours. This week I think I'm close to that again. We just didn't hire enough people this year. No one wanted to work in the mall. We hired 2 people out of the 4 to 5 people we needed to have. So I'm a little tired of working. Over the 2 weeks I've had 2 days off that weren't close to each other.

Today starts a new week and I have 3 days off in a row. So I'll be able to rest and not have to work with people at all. I'm not looking forward to working New Year's Day because we are going to the judge's house and playing games. But the store is just going to be open for 8.5 hours for 2 days, there is no point having 2 people come in for little bit of time.

For Christmas kommandant got a PlayStation 4. Knittech and I have been playing Diablo 3 on it. Kommandant just got fall out 4. Don't know when he is going to have time to play it, since knittech and I have been playing on it more then him. Knittech went and got 2 more controllers for the playstation so they can play with us.

Kommandant got me an iPhone 6s Plus phone. I LOVE it. I haven't had the chance to put it down when I'm not working. It has a GREAT battery life and I have been using the crap out of it. The speaker is nice but I just got head phones and I have been using them.

Sunday!

Kommandant and I have moved. It sucks because I loved LOVED that house that we were in. We didn't like having the roommates that we did because they didn't do anything and they were very messy. I don't want to live with teenagers unless they are mine or related to me and I can tell them what to do. 

We have been cleaning the house so the landlord doesn't have to do much when we are gone. He will have to replace carpets and do a deep clean of the whole house but that was there before us. We have been vacuuming the house and I have clogged 1 vacuum cleaner to the point of no return. The second one is the one that is used often so we had to fix it. It was clogged good. It took about 15 minutes to fix it.

I have to go to the house tomorrow and vacuum my room and go back through and vacuum the house and then sweep and mop the house. I'm not looking forward to it because I am going to be doing the house we are in too because it needs done.

The head of the locust bought some bread for us because she ate some of our bread. She got wheat. I don't have a problem with the choice. But I have grown into a food snob. I like good bread and not the cheap breads. I have brands that I get. It was a nice gesture for eating my bread.

So we have had an issue with lights being left on and messes bring left. Kommandant and I have to get use to having other people in the house that make messes too. I know we aren't the best people to say that we aren't messy because we are. We have to clean us after we are done eating or leaving a room. We had our own space and we used the space the way that we wanted.

I thought the problem was going to be the dishes. But having a dish washer makes a huge difference. We put our stuff in the washer and we are done. We have been using cups and I use 1 cup that is the iron horse cup and nothing else. Kommandant uses a couple of different cups. We use more cups then anything else. So I have to talk to Kommandant and the head

of the locust and get them to use 1 cup and keep it out and make sure they know it is their cup so we don't run into the issue of no clean cups in the house.

 

Come on end of the month!!

I'm freaking out a little bit. We have 3 days before the end of the month and we have a lot of stuff still in the house. I don't know how we are going to pull it off.

Kommandant was suppose to go to the house today and do a load to the storage and I have his keys! So we are going to go to the house and load up the car and go in the morning tomorrow.

Kommandant and I were at the house the other day to do a load and by the looks of it the roommates haven't touched anything or moved anything out. I'm stressing over it because I don't want anything bad to happen to me because their stuff is still there and they haven't moved out.

I'm going to ask for the keys and the garage door opener Tuesday because we are giving the keys over to the landlord Wednesday.

I was able to take the coffee maker to work and it is the best thing ever. I am not a huge coffee fan and my boss things that I like dark and bold coffee. I like the medium roast and I don't like to have it every day. But the roommates have been using it for the last year and I couldn't do what I wanted with it because they were using it and Kommandant didn't want to have any conflict in the house because of it.

The other night I was making a chicken roll up and I was looking for the cheese that we brought from the house and I couldn't find it, all I could find was knittech and grilltech's cheese. So I didn't use any. I asked them in the morning and the head of the locust has said that she ate it. I thought we were done with people eating things that isn't theirs.

The first or second night I got to feed rascal and the locust was saying that we was going to eat his food for lunch. I had to tell her not to because it was animal food that we make.

Tuesday

Kommandant and I went out Monday and went looking away apartments. We left at 11 in the morning and didn't get done till 5. We found one that I fell in love with. It had enough space and it had extra storage space. The bathrooms weren't tiny and they had large tubs, I was in love and it would be the same amount as the rent we are paying now so it made it that much more desirable. 

We didn't get it. The reason is because of "past credit issues". That's why they declined it. We met the criteria with 24 months of positive rental history, and making 3 times the rent in gross.

I don't get how I get declined for an apartment but I get approved for a jewelry credit of 500.00. I don't get how I can get something like jewelry but not a roof over my head. 

So the search is still on. I think we are going to have to get a house because an apartment will not allow us to live in them with "past credit issues". 

Monday!

Today I had the day off. So the plan is to get Kommandant's drivers license or ID card and he would be set for a form of ID. We spend about 45 minutes in the dmv. I don't like going to the dmv and Kommandant doesn't like when I fidget. And I spend about 20 minutes fidgeting.  We got to the counter and asked a couple of questions about the drivers license and they said that he was good to go and he didn't need to take the test or anything. They just gave him the license. 

Yesterday the roommates where suppose to give us money. Kommandant was home all day and I was at work. He said he didn't see them at all. The only time I saw them is when I got home and they were walking out the door. And we thought that they would be up for a while and they were.

I spend a text message to both the adults to see if they had money for us and they said that they thought that they were done paying because they said $900 and they were looking to pay $1,000 for the month. I have been keeping track of what has been given and what comes due and they are back to about $1,000 owing us again. 

The mechanic roommate is trying to say that I still owe for the tune up. I paid them $400 and that is what they said that I owed them and that was it. The mechanic is saying that I said that I would give him the rest of the money at a different payday. I don't know what he is talking about because I did pay him and I checked the bank account to make sure and it is telling me I did a with draw of at least $400 that day.

New this week

Things have cooled off a little bit at the house. I'm not freaking out so much anymore. It sucks that we have to move but this gives kommandant and myself a chance to live together by ourselves. We have been married for about 8 years and we have lived by ourselves for about 4 months rounded up together with no one else. 

We have decided that we want to move by end of October. Because that gives us 3 months to save money for moving. We still haven't told the roommates because I'm pretty sure once we tell them they are going to stop paying. So kommandant and I have decided that we will tell them in a month in a half so they have a month and a half to move out. Technically in the agreement that we have with them if they miss a payment we shouldn't ask them to move out they should just move out on their own. I don't think that they would that's why we are going to tell them they have a month to get out. 

We are looking to move into the whitewater park apartments. It use to be called the clock tower, but they got new management. I'm looking at applying and it has a list of things that we have to have to apply, like prof of employment, 24 month verifiable rental history, a positive credit payment history. So it is a lot to just apply and get into it. 

Work has been going okay. The boss man is going to start working and getting the store cleaned and back to the way that it is suppose to be. He told me that I need to stop slacking and help get the store to where it should be. I told him I haven't stopped working my butt off trying to keep the store cleaned. I have been cleaning the floors and dusting when I can. So I'm excited that I'm not the only one cleaning the store again. 

We are giving daisy to the mother in law. We don't think that the apartment building would like having her be there. Kommandant's mom likes daisy. So we are "loaning" her out till we get a house or we move.

Story if my life (earlier this week)

Just when I think everything is going okay something goes wrong. I find out that the neighbors are complaining about the yard and the way it looks. It's looked like a mess for as long as we have been there. So the landlord calls and talks about it with Kommandant and me and he decides that he wants to hire a guys to remove the mess that someone that use to live there. We have been living with it since we moved into the house. The landlord called me yesterday and said that he would like to walk through the house and find out what is wrong, because we told him everything was fine.

 (I thought that the people that lived here before us told him everything that was wrong with the house to the landlord, but they didn't. The landlord thinks that we did everything to the house because we didn't tell him what was wrong with the house.) 

He told us that he didn't want us to sign a new lease when it comes again in June of 2016. Even though we have been there for 2 years.

I'm freaking out about it because the landlord was just at the house and he said it looked okay when he did a walk through. He wants to go deeper and find out what is in every room and make sure everything is okay. 

Penny

I love my car. I'm upset that i have to buy a new battery and i have to get a new radiator hose. I finally went and talked to the roommates boss and he is getting me "hooked up" with a "killer deal". I am going to be paying $150.00 for a tune up and an old change and a radiator hose replacement.

Today Knittech and Grilltech bought the plane tickets for the cruise that is happening in march. i'm looking forward to going and spending time with the family. that mans that we are going to be broke for a while.

The roommates are starting to pay their rent so now we have money to do stuff, like pay the cruise off so we can start saving money for shopping while we are on the cruise. 

This hell.

Beginning of May the roommates and us made an agreement that they would pay us what they owe us, they had picked out the date themselves of what day would work best to give the payment. The two payments that were supposed to get it happen on Saturdays. So far last payment was paid on Sunday. This payment kommandant and I made an effort to stay home on Saturday night so we could get the payment go to the bank. When the roommates got home they were "tired" and wanted to do it Sunday night.

Last payment they made they only made a $500 payment. That means that they still owe $1600. tonight we are going to have a conversation with them to see where they are sitting. What I'm expecting out of this conversation is A little money and them wanting to renegotiate one more time because they didn't take into account something.

If they try and renegotiate kommandant and I are going to say no. Because we didn't want to give them a second chance in the first place. We are just being nice you don't want to see anybody on the street. But they have done this to themselves and I'm done paying somebody else's way.

Suck it!

This week hasn't been a good one. work is okay and I'm enjoying it but the only problem is that we don't have enough employees to come work. So if one employee calls out sick that means that a manager (<- means me) gets to work the shift that was called off. i was not ready to work a 12 hour day. all i wanted to do was go home and sleep. but i worked after i called Mr. Boss man to let him know that the person was not able to work.

Work has been busy with things to do with the District manager coming to visit to tell Mr. Boss man to put things the way they were before. its been a lot of work and Mr. Boss Man has been stressed out because of it and his baby being sick. that also has things in his world stressing out and making my life stressful at work.

Sunday Kommandant had his friend come over and took things from the house so we can get rid of cludder around the house. he took a lot from the garage and some from the side of the house and a bed from the child's room. when i got home i didn't see what he took and asked if he did anything. yeah that was a mistake and he sent some time yelling at me because i "don't apprishate" things that he does.

Forgotten post

Friday: I worked and the day was a normal day with working with the Boss man. After work I went to knittechs house and we did dinner and we played Mario on the wii. Kommandant and grilltech went to the game store because it was board game weekend. So I knew I wouldn't get to see Kommandant much. 

Saturday: Kommandant went to the shop while I was at work and played games. I worked and then called him to come get me because he took the car. He was late coming to get me. I told him to be outside at 3 and he left the shop at 3. So there was a little bit of waiting. He went back to the shop and played more games and I went to knittech and grilltechs house and hung out with them for a little bit and then went home. 

Sunday: the morning was okay because I didn't have to be to work till 10:45 so I could slack off for a little bit. Kommandant was going to stay home and work on cleaning the room. He got a call from a friend that he was going to meet up with and play games with. So he went off and did that after we had a chat with him because I hadn't seen him in a while and it was nice seeing him.

At work I worked for 4 hours got off and got to see Kommandant while he played games and got information from our friend of house to get the roommates out. He is a lawyer and wanted to make sure they if anything went wrong that he would help us. I had to go back to work because we have a redisplay that is taking forever and we moved sections of the store around. It's a pain in the butt. Before I left Kommandant I asked him to talk to the roommates. He went home and sent 4 hours sitting at the kitchen table waiting for them to have this talk but they had friends over and Kommandant is nice and he waits for the right time. It never happened because they snuck off to bed before Kommandant could say anything to them. 

Monday: I had to come into work for a little bit to finish the redisplay that we have been working on. I went home at 10ish and Kommandant wanted to get some food and I wanted to talk to the travel agent to get the costs of the cruise and flight and hotel. We got home and the mooch was there and she wanted to know if she could get a ride to work. I said I would but we needed to talk. We had the talk and now we are keeping the dogs away from the house while we aren't there. We just don't want to chance something happening to them.

The timeline for them to move is April 30th. So only 16 more days!!

 I got an email saying that the cruise ship is an older model and the balconies are a lot more. But she is looking at the information about it and we are going to be getting a call for an appointment. 

Yay me!

I weighed myself last night because Kommandant and I went to maverik by our hour to get food and we ended up getting a 32 oz growler filled and we tasted some of their new beers. The gal that is always there when we go asked if I lost weight and that I looked good. I said I don't know but thank you. I'm down since I started weighing myself in October 2014 down 11 pounds. 

Really?

Yesterday knittech wanted to get her nails done. We went and she has sworn off gel nail polish. I didn't like the last one I got because you could see my nail the next day. This time I got the gel because I wanted to see if I would like it. Last time when we went to get the gels removed it made our nails really thin and brutal. I love my nails they haven't chipped. (Guess that's why I like them). 

 Last night Kommandant had made the decision to tell the roommates that they need to be out by the end of the month. They only paid Januarys rent and haven't paid anything else towards the rent. They did pay the water because it affected them and they came up with the money. Well kommandant didn't feel good last night after dinner. So we didn't do anything last night. So that means that he may have to do it without me there because we want to do it soon so they know that they need to find somewhere else to mooch off of. 

I do feel bad for them because the female pretty much has a booty call boy toy that mooches off of her. He doesn't pay rent or anything. He just uses her food cable and a roof over his head. He doesn't care to get a paying job because he wants to learn to work on cars. Then she quit her job about 2 months ago because she hated the job. She worked with me at a call center. She didn't have a job lined up or anything. She just quit showing up. She got a job at another call center thinking it is going to be better. She took a title loan out for her truck and since she hasn't had a job she can't pay the bill for it. It got towed Monday while her and her son work at the hospital getting surgery. The son was getting surgery.

I have been looking into dumpster rental so we can clean the house up. I found 1 where we could rent a 20 foot one for 200 for the dump and 2 dollars a day for the rental. Kommandant wants to check with his friend that has a huge dumpster that all we have to pay is to dump it and pay his gas to get out to our house. Kommandant isn't thinking about taking a few days and throwing things in there and then having someone take it away. He is thinking about doing it all at once. Thinking about that makes me tired. I don't have anymore days off this week and Kommandant is busy this weekend as well. So pretty much we can't do it this weekend.

Kommandant and I got some of our taxes back. More then what I thought we would get back. So we went to the store and bought some food and we bought 2 movies (the hobbit all 3movies in a pack and game of thrones season 4). We watched the hobbit and I didn't remember watching the second movie.

I don't like closing at work. It ducks because there isn't anyone at the mall on Tuesdays. I use to work mornings but Slacker can't work the night so that means that I get to do it. We only have made about 200 dollars today and the gold is 900 dollars. Freight came in today and Slacker did a little bit of it. So I had to do the rest of it. 

The rest of the week I'm working 6 hours during the day. All but Thursday I get to come back and do a redisplay that Boss wants done. Well corporate wants done. So that means I get a split day where I work 5 hours and then after we close I get to work 3 more hours moving things around. I wonder what my schedule is going to look like next week. 

Last week

I have an app on my phone that is Blogger. I would right 3 to 4 paragraphs and then I would forget and close it and my post would get deleted. I decided that I would write in the notepad and then copy and paste it to the blogger. 

Monday the Boss went on a mini vacation for his birthday. He left me a list of things that needed to get done before he returns on Friday. I had the girls for 2 days apiece. Ms Corky and then Ms Slacker. 

Monday: I got Ms Corky she has stepped up her game and she is working hard and she does what she has to and what we give her to do. I have a list of things that needed to get done and I gave her something to do. The list was simple and I had the hours to use her. She did most of the list. 

Tuesday: I come in and we got freight. I received it and didn't get a change to put it away because when we get a customer in the store we can not be behind the counter getting the work we need to get done done. Even if the person has no interest in buying anything we still need to be out in front of the store. So I didn't get freight and I left a list for Ms Corky and she did what she could and left me the rest of freight for me to do.

Wednesday: I work 8 hours and I'm trying to get through my list and I'm about half way there. I leave the wedding redisplay and cleaning the back counter for Ms Slacker. I leave her a note with 5 things to do. I tell her that she has 2 days to finish this list. I engraved 10 cups and it was only 4 cups that I should have done. Great I messed up that order. 

Thursday: I am closing today and I am feeling a little better. I am still sick and I'm not happy about it. I come in and both my engravers are running glass. Engraver one (frank) hasn't been doing glass because he is leaking water then ever there is water in there. Second engraver (Sally) was running a glass order that was taken 3 days ago and Ms Slacker should have done yesterday since she didn't do pretty much anything on the list.

So that means that i have about 4 hours to do a wedding redisplay, clean the back counter, make sure there are the right signs out where they should be, help customers and get paper work done that should have been done when I got in. Not trying to get caught up with engraving today's work. 

Ugh!

Today at work i have been working on a redisplay. i get to rearrange the store shelf by shelf. so far i have done 3 different areas so far. i had to go into work on my day off and work for 4 hours.

today I'm extremely tired. yesterday i went to work and worked 8 hours and then came home and then laid in bed because Kommandant is sick and there hasn't been anything to do.

Today Kommandant and i came home and the roommate was home and she was talkative. We should be getting money tomorrow on 03/26. no clue as to what time.

a Coworker asked to trade shifts tomorrow and that means that i could have Saturday and Sunday off. this will mark 9 working days before i get a day off. but i am loosing an hour.

Today Kommandant and i came home and we don't have water.. guess well have to wait till tomorrow or Friday at the latest, because that is when we get paid to be able to get it paid.

Wednesday

I've decided that the roommates need to get out of the house this month. they haven't paid February's rent or Marches rent. we have spent about $1400.00 in the 3 months that they have been here. for about 2 days the roommates have been avoiding us (i think). when we are home they are in their rooms. when they came out of their room to put dishes in the sink and then go back to their room.

talked to sister last night and was told that she knows of one of her friends that is looking for a place to live. so i called that friend and was talking to them. talked to them and all they wanted to pay was food stamps. yeah no thank you! i need someone that is going to pay their rent and help out with the cost of rent not getting food in the house that Kommandant and i aren't going to touch.

Today at work i was talking to a coworker and I'm not sure how it came up in conversation. maybe it was because i was complaining about rent not getting paid or something and she said that she was looking for a place to rent because the place that she is at is too expensive. i am looking for someone that will pay rent so we are going to set up a time for her to come look at the house and have a fun time playing games at the house (they are gamers so that may be a win for us.) Lets hope that they are willing to look and move in.

I went over to Knittech's house and sweep, mopped and vacuumed the house. spend an hour cleaning. i turned on the Bluetooth speaker and rocked out while i cleaned.

Roommates from hell

So the roommates are still here. They still haven't paid rent. The tally is up to 1300. I'm a little bit upset.

The roommates said that there should be money coming the end of this week or the beginning of next week. I don't know what to think because they have been saying that money is coming any time and guess what? It's still not here.

The other day sister got into an argument with her roommates and she was so upset that she wanted to move out of her house and she had asked us if she could move in with us. At first I didn't think that it was a good idea. But Kommandant and I talked about it and decided that it was a good idea. Because the roommates that we have now aren't paying the rent now. So I called her and told her the good news and now her husband doesn't want to move. 

I'm a little confused because she really didn't want to be there any longer. She had been asking about how much I would charge for rent and I told her 475 that is less than what they are paying now. But the husband didn't want to move he wants to stay there. 

Kommandant and I were looking forward to having some extra money. We have been so broke that it isn't funny. This agreement with the roommates should have been working out for the best for us. 

I wrote the rent check this last week and sent it off. I wrote it for the 13th because that is when kommandant and I get paid. The rent came out today. We don't have the money for it and my account is overdrafts to the point that I'm not sure if getting paid is going to get us out of the hole. I hope it will and I won't have to stress anymore about it. To night Kommandant and I went for a walk. We took the babies with us and we walked for about an hour. I think it helped.

Knittech and I got our nails done with the gels last week or so. They looked nice the first day and then they weren't so great after that. We like the kind that peels off after a week and then I can do what I want with my nails.

This month is sisters birthday. knitteh and I are going to take her with us. That is happening on Friday. 

Saturday!!

When someone text messages you asking if anyone would take your shift and that person responses and then the manager asks if someone has responded and that someone has but they tell him that they have not irritates me. so i had to tell her to look at my days that i work and say take one of my days and we are set.

Kommandant and i started to clean out the garage. Kommandant is not feeling good. all the dust and garbage in there has gotten to him. We were looking for the title for the truck. Kommandant and i have decided that we are going to be selling it.

We still haven't gotten the rent yet. so that means that the roommates owe us $1400.00. I'm not a happy camper. the female roommate is looking for a job. she was offered one job but she had to get a state license but she can't afford to get it so that job is out the window.

The child said that he was going to do the dishes but he hasn't done any of them. he was been home all day. i think he expects me to do them because i spent all day on my day off i spent it cleaning the kitchen and getting it arranged the way that i liked. I'm irritated at that issue too.

Wednesday

Today was a short day at work. nothing really special happened while i was at work. i was told that the big boss is coming to the shop on Monday and that means that i get to work Monday.

Tuesdays suck!

Came into work a little early to see if there was a "to do" list and didn't find the list but found things that i needed to do. Freight came into the store yesterday and it was not put away. so i spent the first hour putting it away. i just don't understand why someone can not put freight away when it comes in. its easy all you do is find the spot it does in and then that's it. i'm the only one that seems to be able to haul trash out of the room. i do it every week and no one is getting the picture that it needs to be done more then just one time a week.

i got a phone call today from the roommate and i can not answer my cellphone when i am at work. so i called her on the store phone and she did not answer. i left a voice mail with the phone number of the shop and still she called the cellphone when she needed to call me.

The cable was installed last Monday and we knew that he was coming. he was 3 hours late and spend an hour installing the cable. today i got a phone call from the internet guy saying that he was going to be at the house to install the internet. i had to call Kommandant and have him call and talk to the internet guy and figure out what is going on. all they had to do was switch a few things and then the internet is in our name and we are getting a new router.

Tuesdays are super slow at the shop. there were no customers in the shop till about 1pm. we opened the doors at 10am. then it got busy so that i had to rush and get everything done for a good 3 to 4 hours. it was steady and i didn't feel rushed. there was one customer that spent an hour trying to find out what she wanted to get for a friend's baby. i had told another customer that it would take an hour to get something done for them and the Ms. Needy came into the store. i finished when the customer came back to check on the items.

Today was the first time that a flunkie came in and worked in more then 5 months. he has not closed the store and i had to run through what to do with the closing and how to help customers. told him if there is engraving that needed to do just leave it for me in the morning and then i will have it done for the customers. shared how to make sure everything was good. told him to call if he needed anything but i haven't gotten a call tonight. i hope everything is going okay with the store.

the day in the life...

Its been a year plus since i have last posted. a lot has been happening since i posted last. i got a new job that i like so much and we have a different roommates living with us.

The new job is great and i love it. I get to engrave stuff for people. I am one of the boss's at the store. it is great. still in the training stage but I'm getting better.

Our roommate that we loved so much decided that he wanted to get a girlfriend. We are happy for him.

the new roommates are interesting. we got rent on time the first month that they were here. this second month we still haven't seen anything. it's getting irritating because they come into the house and they use the house for anything that they want but then went it comes to money it's "oh sorry, the Child support that it something from X is coming and it should be here any way." yeah that was 2 weeks ago. so we are crossing our fingers as to when we are getting the rent money since another rent is due in a week.

for Christmas i got 3 free hair removal treatments. when the hair removal happens it hurts but it is looking good. i have less hair and i actually let Kommandant touch my face. Kommandant and i have been married for 7 years and i really don't let him touch my face. it is a big step for me to let him do that.
