Tuesdays suck!

Came into work a little early to see if there was a "to do" list and didn't find the list but found things that i needed to do. Freight came into the store yesterday and it was not put away. so i spent the first hour putting it away. i just don't understand why someone can not put freight away when it comes in. its easy all you do is find the spot it does in and then that's it. i'm the only one that seems to be able to haul trash out of the room. i do it every week and no one is getting the picture that it needs to be done more then just one time a week.

i got a phone call today from the roommate and i can not answer my cellphone when i am at work. so i called her on the store phone and she did not answer. i left a voice mail with the phone number of the shop and still she called the cellphone when she needed to call me.

The cable was installed last Monday and we knew that he was coming. he was 3 hours late and spend an hour installing the cable. today i got a phone call from the internet guy saying that he was going to be at the house to install the internet. i had to call Kommandant and have him call and talk to the internet guy and figure out what is going on. all they had to do was switch a few things and then the internet is in our name and we are getting a new router.

Tuesdays are super slow at the shop. there were no customers in the shop till about 1pm. we opened the doors at 10am. then it got busy so that i had to rush and get everything done for a good 3 to 4 hours. it was steady and i didn't feel rushed. there was one customer that spent an hour trying to find out what she wanted to get for a friend's baby. i had told another customer that it would take an hour to get something done for them and the Ms. Needy came into the store. i finished when the customer came back to check on the items.

Today was the first time that a flunkie came in and worked in more then 5 months. he has not closed the store and i had to run through what to do with the closing and how to help customers. told him if there is engraving that needed to do just leave it for me in the morning and then i will have it done for the customers. shared how to make sure everything was good. told him to call if he needed anything but i haven't gotten a call tonight. i hope everything is going okay with the store.
