Thank goodness it's Friday

This week has been stressful because of the shift bid. We were suppose to know what are shifts are on Wednesday. I learned that my shift did change but I don't know when it is suppose to be. They said that it would be in the system by now and I still haven't seen it yet.
Well today I was talking to Kommandant and some friends and we were talking about what Kommandant wants for his birthday. Well now kommandant wants to get enough money pulled together so he can go to the feast of blades thing that is happening in October. He is going to talk to the guys that are already going and he wants to go with them and pay for some gas and part of the hotel and get into the convention.

Tuesday

Well yesterday was really stressful. I put in my shift bids. Only had to fill out 20 of the shifts that I wanted. I kept telling my sup that I needed the paper work and she kept saying that she would get it to me. Half my day went by and I got nothing, then another sup came by asking if we all got the packets for the shift bids. At least it got done.
I hopefully will know what my shift is going to be at the end of today or the end of the week.
Yesterday was the national lefty day an I didn't gloat about it. I told Kommandant about it and he said "every other day is righty day".

Wednesday

I'm so ready for it to be the weekend. I don't want to go to work an hour early I just want to be working my 8 hour shift and not this 9 hour one. I just have to get through this week and then next week is going to be better.
So kommandant bought his birthday preset that I wanted to get him. I was talking to knittech about what to get him and we had decided on the robot thing for war hammer and then kommandant got it the other day because "no one was going to buy it for me". I told him that I didn't know what I wanted to get him and he shouldn't buy anything. Oh well he wants a board game or a mini for a game he plays. I am thinking that I can get him both of those and it would make him happy.
Kommandants family is coming at the end of the month for a camping trip and I requested the time off. All the time off I requested was declined because of "project demands". I only requested 2 days off. I just found out if you request a Friday off it would automatically get declined because that is a black out day and no one gets it off.
I found out yesterday that the company is extending the hours of operation on the weekends and everyone is going into shift bids. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think I want to stay on nights but I want to have Sunday and Monday's off. It would be cool to have 2 days off with kommandant.

Fairwell my Sweet Sabrina!!!!

On Halloween of 1999 we found a surprise on our front porch. It was a little black kitten that someone had left in our neighborhood. At that time we had 3 cats and didn't need another. I told the kids to take the cat and go around the neighborhood and see if anyone had lost a cat. No one claimed her. We then contacted the pound to find out if anyone had reported a lost cat. She was checked for an ID chip and none was found. It was also discovered that she was fixed and had no front claws. Since no one was claiming her she came to live with us. The girls dubbed her Sabrina (can you guess what show was popular at that time?).

 She was a cute little thing and quickly became PerkyGoth's cat.

At our house we have a cat feeder and keep it full. Sabrina was an "eater". She would eat before going outside, then have to stop and eat when came back in. She soon blossomed into a pretty large cat.

 According to her last weigh in with the wii (yes I know it isn't a scientifically accurate method) she was 28 pounds. She was a large and loving cat. She got along with everyone that came to visit. She also was happy with other cats, including the new kitten Fran.

 There was a time that the BKs family came over with their toddler "TrainLover". TrainLover had never been around a cat before since his dad MrBK is allergic to them. Sabrina was very patient and gentle with him and let him learn about cats. Even if he had to be reminded to "pet gently". She never complained, scratched or bit him. She even got along with a hyperactive BabyBird.

 Eventually PerkyGoth married Kommandant and moved out. Kommandant doesn't "like" cats (as a side note, we kept Fran because "Kommandant" likes her). Since she couldn't move in with them Sabrina stayed with us. She was now my cat and turned that affection to me. She would sit on the arm of my chair while I was using the laptop demanding affection. She would sleep on a pillow by my head and purr me to sleep at night (then she would either move out to the living room or the foot of the bed).

 On the 4th of July she went outside. Leading up to this she had been a bit despondent. She didn't come back till late afternoon on the 5th, which is rare for her. She then headed out again on the 6th and hasn't returned. We have checked and searched but no one has seen her. A trip to the pound didn't turn her up either. I believe that she knew it was her time and she left us the way she came. Suddenly appearing and now disappearing.

June 2

This week has been crazy. I started at my new job and i have worked all week with no day off. All my shifts have been 8 hours or more and all i want to do is sleep for a week.

Sunday

I got the job that i was interviewed for and I start Tuesday at 2:30. Training is 8 weeks long. I'm looking forward to this. I have finished working a Sunday shift at my old job for the last time. I work Monday and then that's the last weekday that i work for my extremely part time job. So with my new work times i work Monday through Saturday and I have Sundays off.
Kommandant and I will have some what of the same schedule.

I'm soo Evil

Today we went to do the pool at the gym and it was fun. after we got out of the pool and into the car and i saw that i missed a phone call and the people even left a message. I listened to the message and it was teleperformance and they wanted to do a phone interview, which went very well. They want me to come in tomorrow and do a face to face interview and a criminal check, drug testing, and a typing test. I'm going in after i get off...

Mother's Day, Monday and Tuesday

Sunday started at 8:25 am because we called Kommandant's mom the night before and told her we would leave the house around 9 am.We went and picked up Kommandant's mom at his aunts house that she just moved into. It's really cute and it's a studio house with a little court yard!
The first place that we went to was the zoo. Knittech didn't want to come with us to the zoo but she did come out later. While we were at the zoo we finally went on the boat ride  there were too many people on the front of the boat and the people weren't moving to even the weight and they were just watching the water come on. Once they finally realized and were told to move everything turn out fine.
 The zoo was awesome we were there for at least 2 and a half hours. while we were wandering there wasn't really anyone that was in our way and not really crowded.
After the zoo we went to Dairy Queen for lunch then we went to the aquarium. we feed the tropical fish, sting rays and sharks, and the tiger fish. the coolest thing to feed was the tiger fish. the sting rays weren't that cool. they even had 2 lizards 1 was on the tropical fish tank that decided that he wanted to swim around for a little bit. and the other one was sitting out on the boat that was in the middle of the exhibit.
Kommandant said he wants to get a lizards eventually, he had one and loved it. I told him we can get one after Daizy is gone.
After the aquarium Kommandant and i took his mom back home. we took some games up there and we played, and played them till we were tired of playing. We watched America's got talent and we all agree that they need to ban singers because they have too many singing shows, and the show is called America's got talent not All the singers that failed American Idol.
We Had this awesome cake that Kommandant's sister told us about.It's confetti cake baked and hole cut into it, then some raspberry jello mix and poured all over the cake, then the cake is put in the fridge over night and once you are ready to eat it you cut it into pieces and you put it on plates, and you put whipped cream and strawberries and/or mixed berries. (we had it with the mixed berries and it was really good.)
Kommandant and i didn't come home till Monday night about 10:30 and we were so hungry so we ate and watched TV and ended up going to bed around 1:30. I glanced at my work days and i got to go in at 8 am on Tuesday.
Tuesday morning i got up and went to work at 7:15 just to get to work on time. I got off at noon and i took food to Kommandant, and i went to the gym with Knittech and Grilltech. I managed to get home and let Havoc out before i went to the gym. Today Kommandant and i took Havoc to the Train Station. He had a blast walking around and smelling all the new smells. He really really wanted to go into the water, Kommandant didn't like the color of the water so Havoc drank from our water bottle.

STUPID RAZOR!!!

My Stupid Razor hates me. that's all i have to say about that.
So last time i posted i was really excised that i was getting an interview with the job that i really really wanted to get. Well that didn't happen. HA not even Close. the first thing that went wrong was that the person that i had been talking to for the last 3 days wasn't even there (she was the one that set up the interview Day and time). My paper work wasn't even there they had to print it off and asked me a whole bunch of questions that i had already gone through with the other person that wasn't there. Then she asked me what i wanted to start out pay wise. I said what the job that i was applying for pay rate. she didn't like my answer so i had to say another. then she said that the job that i was applying for and interviewing for was filled yesterday.. the whole interview lasted 15 minutes..

May 11th

This morning i went to do an interview for a company that i wanted to get started with. Sadly i didn't get on with them because they filled the position yesterday.
Today i went shopping and got myself a keyboard and a mouse for the laptop so i have a mouse that works better and i have a keyboard that doesn't have keys missing from it. Kommandant isn't happy about how much i spent on my new toys and i have to share with him. He wants to steal my mouse because it's better then the mouse that he likes for the living room computer.
I still have the old mouse out and i still go reaching for it because it's there.. Ha maybe i should put it away so i don't have that problem..

Little Side Note

So I did the assessment for the company that i want to work for. It was testing me on how to do excel, word, proof reading, and typing. Excel is a pain but i got through it. I had to do excel 2 times before i passed it but i did!
I Called them back and we set up a interview time! For 9:30 in the morning! yay me I'm so excited!

Day 2

So Kommandant and i went to the dog park and they are going to be putting in new "wood chips". It's pretty much lawn clippings, pine needles, and garbage. We discovered this when someone that was there with their dog looked at it and found out and told us and told us to call the governors office and complain about it and see what happens..
I just finished my assessment for the new job that i want to get that gives me full time.. Knittech told me that it's a temp agency. I should have known by the name that they have.
The kitchen got cleaned up the other day. Kommandant and i did it. I want to thank him for doing most of it, I was just too lazy to do all that he did.. other then the kitchen getting done the living room got cleaned up and that's about it for cleaning.
I worked today and it wasn't a really long shift that i thought it was going to be. When i got off i called and called Kommandant and he didn't answer but he did get me a sandwich, which i really enjoyed.
Kommandant found my cat earrings that i haven't seen or heard from since we got married. They were hiding in a box of trading cards that he put into storage and just forgot about. then the other day he was cleaning up some boxes and he found cards so he took them to work and started going through them, and bam they where there.
I talked my sister and she was knitting and just talking and talking and talking, and then she had to go because of some reason or another.
well that's it for now i'm going to play with facebook and then go to bed.

New Blog

So this is a new blog spot that i had to create since it wouldn't let me use my old one. I tried and tried to log into it but i can not get into it.

New things that are in my life: I got a new laptop (new to me), moved into a new house (havoc really enjoys the HUGE back yard), working at my favorite store (but they didn't offer me full time so I'm looking somewhere else so i can get health care and whatnot), Kommandant is wanting to go on a trip in August near his birthday and i want to go with him but it doesn't seem to be in the cards right now. But I'm going to visit Washington that time he is gone.
The Cellphones are acting up and now I'm looking into new ones, it's looking like I'm going to be spending at least $200 on each phones, and then i need to get cases for them and then screen protectors. It's not looking good, but it's going to have to happen soon..
June is going to be a busy month for us. We have a Family reunion, in the last part of the month, and we have the jackpot trip. so we Need to save up for that.
My N Key just came loose and decided that they key part didn't want to be apart of the keyboard any more. we are going to be looking into the old laptop and seeing if the key's will work for this laptop so that the keys will stop falling off of this one!
Well This is it for me tonight, I'm going to play some facebook and then I'm going to go to bed.
