Sunday!

Kommandant and I have moved. It sucks because I loved LOVED that house that we were in. We didn't like having the roommates that we did because they didn't do anything and they were very messy. I don't want to live with teenagers unless they are mine or related to me and I can tell them what to do. 

We have been cleaning the house so the landlord doesn't have to do much when we are gone. He will have to replace carpets and do a deep clean of the whole house but that was there before us. We have been vacuuming the house and I have clogged 1 vacuum cleaner to the point of no return. The second one is the one that is used often so we had to fix it. It was clogged good. It took about 15 minutes to fix it.

I have to go to the house tomorrow and vacuum my room and go back through and vacuum the house and then sweep and mop the house. I'm not looking forward to it because I am going to be doing the house we are in too because it needs done.

The head of the locust bought some bread for us because she ate some of our bread. She got wheat. I don't have a problem with the choice. But I have grown into a food snob. I like good bread and not the cheap breads. I have brands that I get. It was a nice gesture for eating my bread.

So we have had an issue with lights being left on and messes bring left. Kommandant and I have to get use to having other people in the house that make messes too. I know we aren't the best people to say that we aren't messy because we are. We have to clean us after we are done eating or leaving a room. We had our own space and we used the space the way that we wanted.

I thought the problem was going to be the dishes. But having a dish washer makes a huge difference. We put our stuff in the washer and we are done. We have been using cups and I use 1 cup that is the iron horse cup and nothing else. Kommandant uses a couple of different cups. We use more cups then anything else. So I have to talk to Kommandant and the head

of the locust and get them to use 1 cup and keep it out and make sure they know it is their cup so we don't run into the issue of no clean cups in the house.

 

Come on end of the month!!

I'm freaking out a little bit. We have 3 days before the end of the month and we have a lot of stuff still in the house. I don't know how we are going to pull it off.

Kommandant was suppose to go to the house today and do a load to the storage and I have his keys! So we are going to go to the house and load up the car and go in the morning tomorrow.

Kommandant and I were at the house the other day to do a load and by the looks of it the roommates haven't touched anything or moved anything out. I'm stressing over it because I don't want anything bad to happen to me because their stuff is still there and they haven't moved out.

I'm going to ask for the keys and the garage door opener Tuesday because we are giving the keys over to the landlord Wednesday.

I was able to take the coffee maker to work and it is the best thing ever. I am not a huge coffee fan and my boss things that I like dark and bold coffee. I like the medium roast and I don't like to have it every day. But the roommates have been using it for the last year and I couldn't do what I wanted with it because they were using it and Kommandant didn't want to have any conflict in the house because of it.

The other night I was making a chicken roll up and I was looking for the cheese that we brought from the house and I couldn't find it, all I could find was knittech and grilltech's cheese. So I didn't use any. I asked them in the morning and the head of the locust has said that she ate it. I thought we were done with people eating things that isn't theirs.

The first or second night I got to feed rascal and the locust was saying that we was going to eat his food for lunch. I had to tell her not to because it was animal food that we make.

Tuesday

Kommandant and I went out Monday and went looking away apartments. We left at 11 in the morning and didn't get done till 5. We found one that I fell in love with. It had enough space and it had extra storage space. The bathrooms weren't tiny and they had large tubs, I was in love and it would be the same amount as the rent we are paying now so it made it that much more desirable. 

We didn't get it. The reason is because of "past credit issues". That's why they declined it. We met the criteria with 24 months of positive rental history, and making 3 times the rent in gross.

I don't get how I get declined for an apartment but I get approved for a jewelry credit of 500.00. I don't get how I can get something like jewelry but not a roof over my head. 

So the search is still on. I think we are going to have to get a house because an apartment will not allow us to live in them with "past credit issues". 

Monday!

Today I had the day off. So the plan is to get Kommandant's drivers license or ID card and he would be set for a form of ID. We spend about 45 minutes in the dmv. I don't like going to the dmv and Kommandant doesn't like when I fidget. And I spend about 20 minutes fidgeting.  We got to the counter and asked a couple of questions about the drivers license and they said that he was good to go and he didn't need to take the test or anything. They just gave him the license. 

Yesterday the roommates where suppose to give us money. Kommandant was home all day and I was at work. He said he didn't see them at all. The only time I saw them is when I got home and they were walking out the door. And we thought that they would be up for a while and they were.

I spend a text message to both the adults to see if they had money for us and they said that they thought that they were done paying because they said $900 and they were looking to pay $1,000 for the month. I have been keeping track of what has been given and what comes due and they are back to about $1,000 owing us again. 

The mechanic roommate is trying to say that I still owe for the tune up. I paid them $400 and that is what they said that I owed them and that was it. The mechanic is saying that I said that I would give him the rest of the money at a different payday. I don't know what he is talking about because I did pay him and I checked the bank account to make sure and it is telling me I did a with draw of at least $400 that day.

New this week

Things have cooled off a little bit at the house. I'm not freaking out so much anymore. It sucks that we have to move but this gives kommandant and myself a chance to live together by ourselves. We have been married for about 8 years and we have lived by ourselves for about 4 months rounded up together with no one else. 

We have decided that we want to move by end of October. Because that gives us 3 months to save money for moving. We still haven't told the roommates because I'm pretty sure once we tell them they are going to stop paying. So kommandant and I have decided that we will tell them in a month in a half so they have a month and a half to move out. Technically in the agreement that we have with them if they miss a payment we shouldn't ask them to move out they should just move out on their own. I don't think that they would that's why we are going to tell them they have a month to get out. 

We are looking to move into the whitewater park apartments. It use to be called the clock tower, but they got new management. I'm looking at applying and it has a list of things that we have to have to apply, like prof of employment, 24 month verifiable rental history, a positive credit payment history. So it is a lot to just apply and get into it. 

Work has been going okay. The boss man is going to start working and getting the store cleaned and back to the way that it is suppose to be. He told me that I need to stop slacking and help get the store to where it should be. I told him I haven't stopped working my butt off trying to keep the store cleaned. I have been cleaning the floors and dusting when I can. So I'm excited that I'm not the only one cleaning the store again. 

We are giving daisy to the mother in law. We don't think that the apartment building would like having her be there. Kommandant's mom likes daisy. So we are "loaning" her out till we get a house or we move.

Story if my life (earlier this week)

Just when I think everything is going okay something goes wrong. I find out that the neighbors are complaining about the yard and the way it looks. It's looked like a mess for as long as we have been there. So the landlord calls and talks about it with Kommandant and me and he decides that he wants to hire a guys to remove the mess that someone that use to live there. We have been living with it since we moved into the house. The landlord called me yesterday and said that he would like to walk through the house and find out what is wrong, because we told him everything was fine.

 (I thought that the people that lived here before us told him everything that was wrong with the house to the landlord, but they didn't. The landlord thinks that we did everything to the house because we didn't tell him what was wrong with the house.) 

He told us that he didn't want us to sign a new lease when it comes again in June of 2016. Even though we have been there for 2 years.

I'm freaking out about it because the landlord was just at the house and he said it looked okay when he did a walk through. He wants to go deeper and find out what is in every room and make sure everything is okay. 

Penny

I love my car. I'm upset that i have to buy a new battery and i have to get a new radiator hose. I finally went and talked to the roommates boss and he is getting me "hooked up" with a "killer deal". I am going to be paying $150.00 for a tune up and an old change and a radiator hose replacement.

Today Knittech and Grilltech bought the plane tickets for the cruise that is happening in march. i'm looking forward to going and spending time with the family. that mans that we are going to be broke for a while.

The roommates are starting to pay their rent so now we have money to do stuff, like pay the cruise off so we can start saving money for shopping while we are on the cruise.
